It is not always easy to get students interested in volunteering. The Volunteer Center has created an interactive and fun serious of presentations designed to actively engage students in the discussion of:
- Volunteering – What is in it for me?
- How to be a GREAT volunteer!
- Volunteering – How will it affect my future?
The Volunteer Center also offers several trainings and ongoing consultation to help educators learn how to integrate volunteering into their curriculum. Trainings include:
- Requiring Service Hours – The good and the bad
- How to start a Service Learning project in your classroom
- Working Together – Starting a school-wide volunteer initiative
